Ι What Are Ultrasonically Welded Magnets?
Ultrasonic welding is a joining process that uses high-frequency acoustic vibrations to bond two plastic parts together. The vibrations generate heat through friction at the contact surfaces, melting the plastic locally so the components fuse as the material cools and solidifies. Ultrasonically welded magnets, a type of plastic integrated magnet, are magnetic assemblies produced using this technique, in which permanent magnets are welded into or onto plastic parts.
