SmCo magnets are a type of rare earth permanent magnet which made of an alloy of Samarium, Cobalt, and Iron. Besides excellent resistance to oxidation and corrosion, SmCo arc magnets have a high Curie temperature and stable temperature stability in comparison with Neodymium magnets. Almost all of SmCo arc magnets are used in high temperature permanent magnet motors, generators, and coupling devices due to its high temperature holding feature.
